Les Chapman

I did this drawing from a photo taken by Brad Lester for The Star Newspaper. I didn't know who the subject was at the time, but it was a great photo with a lot of character.

I was half way through the drawing when some one told me it was Les Chapman and I realized I knew his family, my sister actually went out with his grandson for a time.

I put the picture in the Korumburra Rotary Art Show, where it was seen by his daughter Lyn, who brought it.

This is the first picture I sold at an art show.
